I remember the shoe

I remember, do you??

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out.
It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being.
We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.

Shock this blog back to life!!

Seriously, no updates? Who's waiting for who?

Haha, never mind about that. Okay, so do you guys remember Hari Kecemerlangan? The day where people watch students get their certificates, watch performances, listen to the same few teachers on stage again, or that day back then when teachers won't teach!! Woohoo!

Anyway...

The letters have just been sent to invite ex-students back to school to er...watch PMR students get their certificates, watch dances, listen to the same few teachers on the stage again...but HEY! If you find something like that in your mailbox, yippee!!

By default, the date is 26th of April 2009 24th of April 2009. That's what I heard. Keep that week free.

So guys, go take pictures, random pictures, any kinds of pictures, and we can shock this blog with tremendous voltage and get it running again!!

PS I think something is different in me now. Shen Yen thinks something is changing in her too. Anyone has the same feeling?

ACTS Teen Party

I'm sorry about the too small size, but I can't get it any bigger. To brief it up, Miss Phui Yi was the one who started asking around.

The Acts Church is having a Teens Street Party on the 28th March 2009, which is this Saturday at the Summit Hotel, 2nd floor. It starts at 6.30pm, but there will be a bus provided at SMK Taman Sea to that place at around 5pm. Go earlier to be safe.

Sigh. I'm too tired to type everything, so comes the miracle of copy and paste.

"Join us for the first huge ACTS Teens Party for 2009! We're going street this time, and its packed with fun and games, food and a cool a girl band 'Free To Fall'. Not to forget the Acts Teens Dance Crew and Pr. Andy Yeoh (Lead singer from Altered Frequency) that will be chatting with us on that day! Check out the eFlyer above for details.

YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE INVITED!

We'd love for you to join us, and we can't wait to meet you! Don't miss out on this epic event!Drop us an email at acts.teens@theactschurch.org or call us at 03-5636 2147 if you have any enquiries or let us know if you need transport! We'll do our best to get you there!"

So far, Phui Yi and Shen Yen are sure comers. Anyone up for it? You can let them know, or just meet up there. Cheers!

Looking for the Rain God?

The class blog was hit with a serious drought! Staring at the screen, I
guess almost all of us imagined a
post would pop up soon enough, though all that
appeared were but mirages.
Dust seemed to gathered into an African desert. OH,
the only thing missing
is a sacrifice to please the Rain God...

Hehe. Just kidding.

So here I shall break the drought, no matter what it takes. And with that, to be honest, I didn't take a lot of photos on that emotional day, but knock yourself out. Bear in mind that these were not taken by professionals.

Grab them if you want, and you'll see some familiar faces, or those who changed from tip to toe.

Till then, SMILE!! This chapter in our lives is over, and soon you'll realised that it holds little value, so SMILE!! Go torture your younger siblings or juniors!!

PS Anyone remember any funny incidents that happened on April Fool's Day? Randomness, but jst to provoke thought.

Don't Worry Be Happy

Hi! If you're anxious about tomorrow, and you think that going online will be therapeutic, and you enter the class blog in hopes that you'll feel at ease, then here is a short extract from a song, which hopefully may lift your spirits up, even if just for a while.

Ain't got no time to lay your head
The results came and caused our dread
Don't worry, be happy.

Everybody say it's coming soon,
So you've been jumping off the walls since noon
Don't worry, be happy.

We may be in fear, and so much afraid
For all of us, we have to see our given grade
Don't worry, be happy.

But think it again, we're about to unite!
And everything (really) is gonna be alright.
So don't worry, be happy.

Put a smile on your face
Don't bring everybody down like this
Don't worry, it will soon pass
Whatever it is
Don't worry, be happy

~Lyrics changed from Bob Marley's 'Don't Worry, Be Happy'~

PS While there isn't much thrill in going back to school tomorrow, meeting up is the only thing I'm longing for. See you tomorrow!
PSS Just take a deep breath and smile. We'll panic together when the time comes.
