This Is For You

Hey and howdy do to all people of 5 ANGSANA 2007/2008, this is the last day of any semblance of our previous school life. From tomorrow onwards, we probably might get awkward or sheepish if we bump into each other. I mean the ones that we didn't really talk to much.
I won't be blogging as much like last time, reasons are few and simple. Not much time and there are a lot of books i want to finish reading. (here i will cackle with sheer anticipation! Books galore!). So here is my post which hopefully, manages to let you all know how much i have enjoyed you as my classmates and my deepest appreciation for sharing two years of Taman S.E.A with me. Enjoy.

It's the end of a year, it's the end of a time
well, goodbye goodbye fellow classmates
there's now an "ex-" added in front,
But instead of the usual heartache and awkwardness
of girl-boy relationships,
this one is worth two years of
cramming for trials, birthday, drama, Pn Ting and
dozing during Mr Ravi's class...(sorry!)
Ben, remember your laugh is contagious like flu,
Suk Ting, there is no price for cool-headedness (yeah man!)
and so on so forth.....
A salute to the class pengawases:
one drifts away like mist yet sits with perfect posture,
another two are like paper and glue,
there's one who is a supernova while the
last
is
volatile..

For the rest, what can i say?
They re pasted in the mind like the
photo album we gave teacher and
will probably turn gray and wrinkled as
years pass but who cares right now?
All i remember will be you as you were,
when youth burned in us like
alkane or even alkene.

Haih, who likes saying bye-bye?
Truth hurts so let memories become
the balm which softens the parting
pain.
As for email or sms, if it doesn't
work you just ask for the h/p number and
call call call until they answer!
and when you get married, invite
US, REMEMBER AH!!
Right now the mountain of revision
books and tuition files that sit there
waiting for me are high as
the school flag (this is a hyperbole and
it was randomly typed in here hahaha)

So I give my love to the future and
thanks for the memories, you guys.
Happy New Year

OMG!!!miss cheryl can write!!!

hey guys, check this out... not bad eh?

Papa and Mummy call me ah hui
Dad's li'l daughter, U.Kelvin's li'l niece
Youths call me che' but to the M'sian government
i'm simply cheryl ng ling hui.

Mayli calls me ah sor, just a 'small kid' to Big Bro'
Nicknamed cherrie by 304A gals
It doesn't matter what i'm called
i'm God's precious daughter, this i know!

Born 25th May 1984 at 8.25am in General Hospital
Just a li'l babe, 5 pounds and 13 ounces by weight
Third in the family – oh no, another girl!
Fret not, worry not, my brother soon follows.

From Tua Ee's house to Ah Mah's place,
A wonderful childhood i had indeed
Barbie dolls i had not, my cousins were my only playmates
Hide-and-seek, kites and hopscotch – those we did play.

From Kindy to SK Kenyalang to SMK Bandar Kuching
i love going to school not one day to be missed
4As for UPSR, 7As for PMR, 10As for SPM - what's next?
"A doctor she'd be," they said, but uh-huh NOT me!!
Over the mountain and the sea, in IPBA i finally landed,
A teacher i shall be, small though i may be
Spreading my wings, to Auckland i flew
And for a season there I remained.

Baking I love, chocolate's my favourite flavour,
Rainbow makes me smile, stress makes me cry
Babies I adore, but not puppies I'm sorry to say
Piano sooths my nerves, and so does a nice hot shower.

Faith's my strength, Admin's my ability
Shepherding's my call, Giving's my passion
And Wisdom from above, that's God's gift indeed!
Filled with grace, blessed to be a blessing…

Revisiting SPM Memory Lane...

Hello fellow classmates-who-seldom-read-this-blog,

So far I've only seen a few comments, so i guess the "lifeless" love needs the hormone adrenaline and glucagon to increase it's life. Ah weell, i'm seriously considering becoming an assasin so please watch out.

Below is an entry i made on the free paper during SPM (I stole it afterwards, shhhh!), which brings me back to that exam hall once more. The whirring fans and moving teachers......enjoy:

Hello and good evening. This is live from Station 021@022, and it’s De-Stress hour!

Yes, this is the perfect hour for me to sit in front of my screen and analyze, joke and whatever else about the SPM we all sat for.

Let it be known that I am not going to touch the Additional Mathematics subject. You could hear the oaths and dung being thrown in the air. Another thing: Today is Amirah Aidura’s BiRthDAY!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMIRAH!!!!

My dear comrades, we are all slaves to the education system of our beloved country. Gladly will we sit for nearly 8 hours in hall or classroom, simply to write our hands to shreds. We think nothing of memorizing useless Pendidikan Moral values (ALL 36 OF ‘EM!!!) which is discarded as soon as we leave the hall. Indeed, all hail the great creature who thought up this vile subject for the youth of Malaysia.
Praise be to the brave, comrades! The brave ambassadors of the education system, our beloved “pengawas”. They sacrifice so much of their time for us!
Now I shall speak Malaysian. I finished writing as many moral nilai’s I could remember on the extra paper they gave. After glancing through the exam paper, I proceeded to regurgitate, like the rabbit (Form 5 Biology) every single “kesedaran”, “untuk”, “kepatuhan” that was crammed in the brain since Form 1. Never mind that I felt a bit sick of this subject, because by 5pm, Tuesday 18/11/2008, P.Moral will vanish from my life!! 4EVA!!!!
I believe the recycling centre will be very happy very soon.

So anyway, I had reached question 5 when the clouds burst open and poured all their tears upon the lands of SMK TAMAN S.E.A. Forgetting the time constraint, my head turned to the doors to watch the green grass get swallowed up by water. Then back to moral again. Gusty winds forced our hall’s window doors to bang and shudder in protest, but oh, the cool fresh air was a welcome relief! Then back to moral again.>0<

I had about half an hour left to kill, but the only instruments that were available were paper and pen. Since you’re not allowed to throw a chair in frustration, my instinctive impatience had to find other outlets, so here’s what I did.

1. tapped my pen on the table 100 times
2. counted the white lights in the ceiling. (For your information, we have 20 of them. Count for yourself)
3. looked around my surroundings, saw pinafore, shirt, baju kurung, shirt, pinafore………..en infiniti……..
4. considered asking permission to drink water but the teachers were looking elsewhere
5. considered using my telepathic mental power to push the long hand of the clock 5 minutes short of 5pm.

This is as far as I arrived, because the rain grew heavier and frankly, I got bored. The occasional lightning thunder special effects made many sleepy heads pop up like black seeds among blue and white porridge. I briefly wondered what would it be like if teachers cycled in the hall amidst our exams. Squeek squeek.

When it finally reached 5pm, I left the extra paper scribbled with nilai behind. Truth: like Stacie Orrico sang, “I’m not missin’ you..”

Of all the Blurrest Mistakes, This Is ONE of 'Em!!

When my sister read the title, she said she didn't get it. Never mind that, let me tell you the story behind it.

It all started a long long time ago when a family of four decided to make a two day trip to Ipoh. Naturally, the eldest beloved daughter, who was feeling frazzled after enduring a major exam was delighted about it. Ipoh was famed for good food and lovely scenery. Heh, even "The King and I" was filmed there.

So they made the 4 hour trip there while the younger sister was complaining about how boring life was gonna get. Even the special bonus of stopping by the hot spring didn't cheer her up. Did you know what happened when they reached the hot spring??

Elder sister : Aaugh, it's so hot! I don't want to go!!
Younger sister: Waa, mum, it's so nice and warm in the water!! Let's stay here longer.

Reverse roles. I hated the hot springs because everybody was dipping their sweaty stinky bodies into the SAME big pool. Ugh. Plus my mum wasn't pleased with my black face, even though i tried telling her about epithelial skin cells and urine being part of the major components in that hot spring pool.

After an excruciating hour at the baking pool, the family of 4 resumed the journey and reached Ipoh at 2 in the afternoon. The rest of the day was spent napping and taking pictures of the sky. At least the cool wind and yummy dim sum made the elder sister feel better. The next day, after enjoying hot hakka mee for breakfast, they went back to Petaling Jaya because mum was coming down with a headache.

The next day, the elder sister was happily clearing her piles of buku rujukan for recycling when she found an SPBT book. That day was Tuesday, 2nd of December 2008, time 3.47 pm in the afternoon.

Before i end, anyone who wants to return their SPBT books because they missed the other days should contact the nearest SPBT member they can find. Then, after a few sms's, you'll be connected to the president of SPBT who will tell you what to do. Finally, if you have read until here and still don't get it,I suggest you call my sister and ask for an explanation. She might not answer because she's been brought up not to talk to strangers.

Have a good day.

We Aren't forever Young You knoW!!!!

yo people!! this is a new chapter to lifeless angsana.

why?

cuz it has changed from lifeless to HALF-DEAD!!!

so who is responsible? Well, there are 3 parties who are guilty, try reading on to see if you fit into all three. AHEM:

Party #1 :Doesn't know that they are a part of "lifeless angsana" and so they blissfully go on the internet without checking this blog. Booo you noobies!!

Party #2 :Have a secret grudge for the creators of this blog (guys, you have three candidates to pick from) and so they avoid this blog like a plague.

Party #3 :They know about it but don't think it worth their precious time. Hmm, no hard feelings for this party but you still should at least give a comment. I'll give you an example.

Suk Ting : Waaa.. so dead wan this blog
Chee Meng : .....
Wah Heng :That's very true. Anyone wan to play DotA with me?
Sam :No.

See! These kind of comments at least make the blog seem like it's breathing. We can be lifeless in real life, but it doesn't mean we make our future selves seem lifeless! Got to have "harga diri".

Can you imagine being 30 years old and looking back to this blog? You want to find that piece of you when SPM was all that mattered, when Pn ting forced all kinds of paperwork on you, when Moral was so boring and you wished perhimpunan wasn't so long.......

and because you belong to the parties mentioned above, you can't find that piece of you. (this is the moment you dry your red eyes and blow your stuffy nose). So in all seriousness, spread the "lifeless" love to everyone. I promise you that no disciplinary action will be taken against you, because we've kissed form % GOODBYE!!

Plus, we're too young to kena ISA, the most is juvenile detention. And the pengawas are no longer pengawas.
ok, case closed.

BREAKFAST AT McD

Breakfast at McDonald's

This is a good story and is true, please read it all the way through until the end! (After the story, there are some very interesting facts!):

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree.

The last class I had to take was Sociology.

The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with.

Her last project of the term was called, 'Smile.'

The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions.

I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway. So I thought this would be a piece of cake.

Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.

It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.

We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then
even my husband did.

I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible 'dirty body' smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men.

As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was 'smiling'.

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance.

He said, 'Good day' as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.

I held my tears as I stood there with them.

The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.

He said, 'Coffee is all Miss' because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes.

That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.

I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray.

I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand.

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, 'Thank you.'

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, 'I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope.'

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, 'That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope.'

We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

We are not church goers, but we are believers.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.

I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand.

I turned in 'my project' and the instructor read it.

Then she looked up at me and said, 'Can I share this?'

I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.

In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son, instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student.

I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:

UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read this and learn how to

LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS - NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE PEOPLE.

There is an Angel sent to watch over you.

In order for her to work, you must pass this on to the people you want watched over.

An Angel wrote:

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

To handle yourself, use your head.

To handle others, use your heart.

God Gives every bird its food, but He does not throw it into its nest.

Send it back, you'll see why !
